Night pours its stars into the marrow,
and light gathers softly in the hollow.

I can be a dragon, vast with ancient fire.
I can be a hummingbird, a trembling jewel of air.
I can be a dragonfly, a firefly, a small bearer of light.
I can be anything, and I am no thing.
I can be anywhere, and I am no where.

Kanta-Atma, veiled radiance
lantern lit before all name—
through my opening, life remembers
its very first breath, its truest name.
